I give five start, because there is not much choice in town, went to meikong earlier, but they don't offer pho for dinner time. Come here, had four different style of Vietnamese cuisine. All good. The pho soup is much better than I expected.
Two star on the review, not fair.
Service is good, staff is helpful. Good location. Will come back on this trip. -

Stopped here today for a much needed bowl of pho (it's been at least two days since I've had any). They had three types of beef pho: rare beef, beef balls, or the house special - rare beef *and* beef balls. There were several other soups on the menu, including a wor wonton which looked kinda tasty.
Mom and I both had the house special. Unlike a lot of the pho places I've been to before, they only bring you a plate with some steamed/heated bean sprouts. There's no lemon/lime, basil, or pepper slices.
The bowls came out fairly quickly and the broth looked a bit cloudy. I attribute that to the large slices of rare beef in the large bowl. Lots of meat, both rare beef and beef balls. Way more than I usually get without ordering extra. Rare beef was nice and tender, even after cooking in the broth for awhile. Noodles were perfectly done, not too firm, not too soft. Broth tasted ok, flavourful if a bit too greasy.
Considering it's the only place I could find in Parksville serving pho, I'll likely be back if I ever find myself there again. :) -

Nice service - horrible food. Both my husband and I found hair in our food... blech.

First time eating here and do not think I will go again. Lemongrass Chicken on Combo plate appeared blackened or burnt. Vegetable roll had a lot of tasteless filling. Looking for tastier food.
